I wanted to let everyone know that Jeff and I finally got the kids all posted on the Santa Smiles Wish List --- all waiting for an elf to come along and choose them to help make their Christmas " merry and bright " . I know that everyone has been affected by the economy crunch, and that most people are struggling, just trying to get by. But, one thing I've learned throughout the years is that there is always someone a whole lot worse off. So, I'm asking you all to Please, go through the lists of the kids on our wish list, and see if maybe there is a little something you can do --- no matter how small you think it is, it's always a huge help for our kids. I finally got too bad, physically, to go out shopping for all the kids, so last year, most of what we sent were gift cards. It saved a bundle on shipping, and the parents got to do the shopping for their own kids. I loved doing all the shopping, but there's just no way I'm able to get out now. If you're one that enjoys doing the shopping, by all means, shop for the kids. If you'd rather, you can send gift cards to the Nation-wide chain stores, or go online, and send gift cards to places like the book stores or music stores (we have quite a few kids that like music and reading. However you want to help is entirely up to you. AND, before we get too deep into the season ---- there is a change in shipping addresses this year. It looks like we will be moving, somewhere around the first or second week of Dec. So, you will need to send packages either to , or we'll check with the parents and see if we can have them sent direct to them, and skip the middle-man. Donations by check or money order need to go to as well --- PayPal donations won't change.
