Guest guest
Dear Sandie, I am sorry to hear of your continued heart events, worried about you in Ann Arbor. However, it sounds like you have a good thorough family doctor advising you with follow up with a honking big sounding monitor! LOL!!! Be good now, do what the doctor says and stay healthy! > > As most of y'all know I was in the hospital a couple days last week. Well, the doctors and staff there did all sorts of tests, blood work, Xrays, monitored my heart. As they released me they told me it seems what I had experienced was anxiety. I was put on a low dose Beta-blocker (Propanolol) and sent on my way to Ann Arbor. > I was to follow-up with my family physician whom I have seen for over 26 years. I had an appointment yesterday, Thursday, and lo and behold, I had been having yet another of the several epidodes, if you will, all day yesterday, continuing while at the dr. office. My blood pressure was taken once by the nurse, 2 more times by the doctor during my visit. It was high for me. It was also high most of the time while in the hospital. He listened to my heart, lungs, and took my pulse. My doctor doesn't think what I am experiencing is anxiety at all but more hypertension and tachycardia. I am to buy a blood pressure cup and monitor my own blood pressure over the next few weeks, calling if I feel imminent need. I go on Monday to the Iowa Heart Center to get hooked up to the King of Hearts Events Monitor for the next 30 days. I am to make an appt. with my dr. 10 days from now for more follow-up. > Really, no worries here. Just wanted to send an update to all who knew of my hospital stay and kept me (us) in your thoughts and prayers. > Happy Friday y'all - with a round of chocolate hugs for all- > Sandie > Des Moines, IA > ____________________________________________________________ > Security Camera for your small business.
