Guest guest
Hi, I haven't posted inawhile, been in pain and trying to get therapy etc. I just had a pre-hearing for my disability case, on Nov 28th and based on degenerative disc disease and occipital craniectomy as a result of Chiari surgery..I have been approved. and after only three years of waiting..lol. i just wanted to let the group know and to say to others that there is a possibility of getting Chiari recognized as a debilitating malformation..even after surgery. this is not to say that many many surgeries are performed and the patients do well..only a few (22%) or so..have ongoing problems that keep them from returning to work. I am very happy to have an approval and still somewhat surprised that this part of it is almost over. Now if I could just feel good enough to go out and do a little Christmas shiopping..Merry Christmas ....debby P.S. anyone with ?'s can e-mail me
