Some of the newer small form factor computers take so little power

that they can run without fans..

If you put a big enough heat sink on a computer, to dissapate the

heat, you can often ditch the fan

" Underclocking " is popular with oldsters like us who value quiet over speed..

If you don't need to run it hot.. don't. But keep an eye on the temperature..

Keep it below 55 degrees C. or so..

Google " silent PC " etc.
