Guest guest
Almost everything that is inhaled (everything that is not absorbed into the bloodstream or exhaled as vapor) ends up being cleared from the lungs by the cillia in the lungs and then because of gravity, it mostly only has one direction to go, down the esophagus and then the GI tract... A lot of stuff goes into your gut, not just things you eat! This is something that effects children a lot. Also pets. Cats bathe themselves, and dogs (and small children, also) use their mouths as hands, etc, picking up a lot of stuff from the ground, etc. That is one of the reasons we DESPERATELY need to revisit LEAD in paint, in my opinion we are NOT DOING ENOUGH AT ALL. They are dropping the ball. In the course of reading stuff on environmental toxicants I come across a lot of stuff on lead. It clearly is a serious problem. One we are not going after the way we could. A lot of people's mold issues may be compounded because of lead. They imply that only children have to worry but that isn't true at all. It effects everybody who comes into contact with it.
