Guest guest
Whoa-a..i didn't know Gray took Medicare..spoke to Dr. Hope and have been trying to scrape up the money to see her ever since..I know Medicare only covers so much but I have been going basically untreated for the mold, and that's not ok... Did find a temporary clean place to live for now, (I hope), so that's at least something.. Guest guest
I know Dr. Gray takes Blue Cross, BUT, there are a couple of labs he insist on using, one in Dallas Real Time Labs and another one in Houston that take no insurance whatsoever. The one in Dallas is going to cost a little over 900.00 and the one in Houston is around 800, I believe, (Know the price for the Dallas, trying to remember the Houston, but that figure sticks in my mind). > > > if you have seen dr Hope or Dr Gray > could you email me, > > I am trying to find out which treatments are covered by medicare and also > what the out of pocket costs for treatments supplements etc might be. > > Also what things ahve helped you or not. > > thanks, Amy >
Guest guest
actually he uses realtime labs out of Dallas for 1 specific test of mycotoxins. the other test panels are done thru Lab corp or Quest. which do bill most insurance companys. While working w/Shoemaker last fall. Shoemaker shared how to do the testing so they could be billed through most major insurance companys. I know becuase my C4 test was just sent out to Lab Corp yesterday. a
Guest guest
He must have found out that Labcorp can do the majority of test needs, EXCEPT the test he sends to LabCorp that runs around $900.00 and they do NOT take any insurance. Realtime test you for three specific molds. > From: a Townsend <kmtown2003@...> > Subject: Re: [] Re: have you see Dr Hope or Dr Gray > > Date: Thursday, October 2, 2008, 10:33 PM > actually he uses realtime labs out of Dallas for 1 specific > test of mycotoxins. the other test panels are done thru > Lab corp or Quest. which do bill most insurance > companys. Guest guest
Lab corp does take insurance. Your insurance coverage my not cover all tests. Mine has covered it. The mycotoxins tests can cover all 3 but you don't have to. You can choose to have only 1 or 2 or 3. Tricothecenes, Ochratoxins, and Aflotoxins. If you know you were exposed to Stachy than you get the Tricothecenes panel. It does help if you knowlegde of what you were exposed to. I know that not everyone has that privilage of knowing. Hope that helps a
