Getting a Job/Working with Chiari.....any suggestions?

OK. No insurance so I've had NOTHING done except being diagnosed and

given preventative migrane meds. I get a severe headache where I

can't even lay down because any pressure on my head is too extreme.

My vertigo spurts have really minimized latley...only had 1 in the

past 2 months and it only lasted a day and a half.

I lost my job I had when I was diagnosed because my initial vertigo

spell lasted almost 2 months and they couldnt wait for me to come

back. (I worked 3 days less than 1 year so FMLA didnt protect me.)

After that I got a job a few months ago doing a labor

position...where I moved to is extremely rural with few

opportunities. In my first week I had one of " those " headaches and

had to leave. On my 3rd week I had a vertigo spell for about 2

hours..fell...and almost got hurt bad. The next day they said I was a

liability they couldnt risk.

Since then I havent worked. I've applied for many many jobs..mostly

sales related which is my background...but I can't seem to land any

of them. I am applying for disability, as per my familys request, but

I see many of you are still working just fine. My question is HOW?

And when you put on that part of the application that asked if there

was any reason or medical condition that may prevent you from doing

your job...how did you overcome that?

I want to work...I'm sick of being broke and relying on family. Do

your jobs just accept the fact that you might have to leave

occasionally due to pain or dizziness??

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not really sure

what to do?
