Guest guest
I bet if you washed in a cup of baking soda, you wouldn't need the detergent at all. It makes the water so soft, the water itself gets more dirt out. I have a friend who worked for Procter and Gamble, whichis headquartered here, and he said that water does 96% of the cleaning and detergent is aiming to get the rest, and that is PLAIN water, not softened water or water w baking soda in it. See how a load of wash comes out with just baking soda and see if you really need detergent. > > So this particular odor has nothing to do with mold. > Its Seventh Generation and unfortunately I stocked up and have six > bottles. Guest guest
This detergent has the slightly sweet smell. It's lovely. Whole Foods and Earth Fare don't carry it anymore. Guess those big guys decided to get rid of the little guy's detergent because then everyone would buy it. http://countrysave.com/enviro.php " Our premium laundry detergent is completely biodegradable. The powder formula provides a safe, gentle wash without the use of dyes, fragrance, phosphates, enzymes, optical brightners or harsh chemicals, without sacrificing superior cleaning performance. It is often recommended for those with sensitive skin problems and for baby clothes. Country Save is formulated to clean clothes effectively while being safe for the environment and future generations. When you take the top off you can smell a touch of outdoors... kind of like the smell of freshly cut lawn but not too strong. After being the nay-sayers of scent for so many years, it is actually kind of refreshing to have some new products in the house that people have been asking about for years!
