Guest guest
Joe, I totally agree with you. My husband committed suicide, I am sure ,due to the nuerological consequenses of mold. My mother was hospitalized and died after the basement flooded, and the remediation was a joke, she developed pnuemonia while trying to get another remediation. And then to have to listen to people say they can't move-or that they can't afford to get new furniture-worries about their " stuff " . It upsets me so much that I leave the site for months on end. Thanks,
Guest guest
, My heart goes out to you. For many of the people on this board, DEATH from mold exposure is just an intellectual concept. They accept it as a " reality " , but NOT as something that can actually happen to them, or to their loved ones. Only you and I, and others who have experienced death by mold, understand the ACTUALITY of the link between mold and death. Others, on this board, feel that their knowledge of the dangers of mold will somehow give them enough advance warning that death is coming for them, for them to avoid dying. THEY ARE WRONG! Every day they stay exposed to a mold-filled environment, is one day closer to the point where their health damage becomes irreversible. At that point, they are on a downhill track which will end in their death. You, they, and I, are family. We have all come to love and care for each other, through this board. We all feel each other's pain and suffering, through reading the posts on this board. Like you, I sometimes have to avoid reading entire chains of postings which deal with people trying to remediate while STILL LIVING in the mold- filled home. I love them too much to bear hearing them speaking words which I know are their own obituaries. To these dear friends I can only repeat what I have posted many times before. If, after a few weeks, you have failed in your efforts to remediate, please RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN. Get out of there while you are still alive.
