Guest guest
they wouldn't give me the pill form, only the cream. they said that with the liver damage it's not good to take any antifungals. I about fell off the exam table when the head nurse started talking about how most doctors eye's glaze over when you bring up mold illnesses. I'm still soaking it all in. the doctor was out but she felt sure that he would be open to helping me. I'm amazed. she said she had just watch something about it the other night. she seemed to understand exactly what all has happened to me. Guest guest
Hi Jeanine, Yes most doctors will look at you funny when you mention toxic mold exposure, not to mention your friends as well. Dont take no for an answer from your Doc. I find it best to call your Doc's office in advance and make an appointment for a " lamisil prescription " . It presents your Doc with what your expectations are in advance. And just a heads up on the lamisil, its available at Walmart on the $4 list. Please keep everyone updated on your progress and if it helped you or not. It helped me! Guest guest
they are not going to give me antifungals and I didn't mention the word " toxic " . there is no way to get through medical history without them wanting a explanation, by looking at me and reading my quesrionaire on medical history. I tried getting lamisil for me feet but the obvious swelling brings up many questions as doctors reconize that as sign of pending heart attack. there's just no way to get around anything without haveing to just explain what happened. and my obvious problems communicateing is a pretty good sign of some kind of brain damage so that's a pretty good sign of liver damage also because I can't say I was hit by a car or something. thos lady even asked if my hisderictomy was caused by the mold exposure so she knows whats going on. Guest guest
Someone I know who is 71 was prescribed Lamisil in pill form for toenail fungus, so I guess every doctor is different. I thought he shouldn't take it since otherwise he didn't feel sick. I felt it was too strong a medicine for toenail fungus until he tried something topical first. > > they wouldn't give me the pill form, only the cream. > they said that with the liver damage it's not good
