Guest guest
New York City is switching from death reporting, on paper, to electronic death reporting. The following link is to the new instruction sheet for doctors to fill out electronic death reports. If nobody " officially " dies from mold exposure, then the government has no incentive to ever look into this " cause of death " . Can anyone think of a way to get " mold exposure " listed as an official " causes of death " ? http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/downloads/pdf/chi/chi27-9.pdf
Guest guest
Joe, In fact, I see nothing on the form that even mentions or allows reporting of any environmental exposure, mold or anthrax or sarin for example. The chain of " causation " starts with a physical condition inside the body, not what may have created it. (Other than perhaps physical injury like a care accident). Guest guest
They should have text entry fields that allow and encourage speculative information to be entered, and in the form instructions, give examples of same. Guest guest
The CDC does not require Doctors to report death from toxic mold exposure. Funny huh?? I say we just bring suit against them to officially recognize it as a serious health threat. Guest guest
Has there ever been an official acknowledgement in the US of a death from toxic mold exposure? I know for a fact that aspergillosis is a major killer, but that is almost never acknowledged as coming from mold in the media! They often try to use euphemisms.. There is a very real concern about concerning people. They don't want us to panic.
Guest guest
I so agree...It's time to file a class action! There is MORE THAN enough " Proof " gathered from around the world.... The USA has become a circus monkey...with other countries laughing. > > The CDC does not require Doctors to report death from toxic mold exposure. Funny huh?? Guest guest
way back when in VA-exposure to mycotoxin was listed as an illness that had to be reported-of course none of my Drs reported it, and I assumed it was listed to be reported as a bio-toxin related terrorist weapon. Guest guest
I read a book several years ago by a medical doctor about death. If I remember correctly he said there are only 7 official causes of death that can be entered on a certificate. Each of which can be modified by specific conditions. That seems to be what the form we're discussing does with its three tiers of reasons. Anyone filling out this form is subject to legal and medical board review. If they don't take a conservative approach they are at risk. Which is why most physicians refuse to testify that mold can cause anything beyond the " officially " accepted mantra.
