Guest guest
I am signature #35 on the petition (the first petition of the two listed). To the best of my recollection, I signed it between one and two years ago. They must have already sent it to congress, but you should still add your signature to the petition. Send an email to the person who originated the petition, whose email address appears at the bottom of the page with the actual petition on it, and ask her what's happening with the petition, if you are interested. Guest guest
I've seen at Snopes.com that signing email petitions isn't recognized by government institutions. I can't say one way or another if this is true. But you can go there and see what you think. I can verfiy that mass organized by an institution that can send your email to your specific govt. reps or individual emails you send on your own do work as I always get replies either by email and/or snail mail from the representativies or agencies that I send them to. Guest guest
The " Impact of Mold Illness Petition " is still active. It is intended to show how many are sick and the devastating impact it has had on lives with loss of homes, health, jobs, etc. I think if it is sent to each Congress person individually, it will make a statement and increase awareness; even if it can't be 'officially recognized'. It has not been sent yet because it is still rather small in relation to how many people could be signing it, who know they are affected. It can be sent anytime - I am curious, what does the group think about sending it now or waiting for more signatures? > > I am signature #35 on the petition (the first petition of > > the two >

This is not an email petition that is forwarded on by individuals; it is a website-based petition. The petition hosting site does collect email addresses for verification purposes to prove validity. They do not share those or pass them along with the petition, based on my recollection. I read the details when I started it, will look for them again and post here.
