Guest guest
Ron, That's fine. Just delete anything that deals with a member of the ASPIRES-RELATIONSHIPS listserv and other identifiers. The Australian psychologist who contacted me four or five years did so because my questionnaire was circulating throughout Australia, and everyone knew that Attwood was interested in developing a scale for adults, but never seemed to have found the time. Once he knew that Ed Ritvo (who was "pretty much out of it") and his wife Riva were working on an adult scale, he and colleagues joined the band wagon to give the Ritvo project some serious mutli-author weight, multiple university connection, and serious pre-testing in three or four clinical locations in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. The Australian psychologist contacted me personally did the editing and simplifying of the questions in my scale for his own clinical practice, and as a guide for clients who were about to be diagnosed or who could assign various priorities to things they'd like to work on with a professional. That still remains one of the values of my questionnaire, and it's also true for the RAADS-R. Even if not used for diagnostic purposes, it can help folks decide what discrete things they'd like to work on with therapists or coaches. Incidentally, that's also the value of the C. Rick Ellis scale as well. N. Meyer I failed the test.... > >Thursday I met with the DVR counselor to learn the psychologist's >conclusions.
