" As a result, my research group and others believe that autism should be

described and investigated as a variant within the human species. "

NB: " variant " , ... should be described ... as a *variant*... !!

I include myself among those " ...and others... " of whom Mottron speaks.

I've flogged that same idea, here and elsewhere, for quite a long

time. I'm *ecstatic* it's hit the Big Time.
