Guest guest
Jill, how sick are you?-I do not read half the posts, and just caught this one out of the corner of my eye.Do you know that it is generally recomended not to take anything from your old living space-if you or anyone in your family is sick? Many find a great place, only to have to move again and again because they took items with them, that although they seemed fine, radiated toxins and MVOC's into their new space. I talked just yesterday with a man who has told me he curses site, that no one told him what might happen, that he might never be able to regain his health-and become a mold " wanderer " - moving from space to space-because he had not taken early precautions. He said it he had known then what he knows now-he would have taken a match to the place and not looked back. And you do know that the disease is culumative-just because you feel OK and strong enough to live in the apt now-does not mean you will not end up in a wheelchair next week. And the disease is progressive-leading to more illness from less exposure. Those of us who have been dealing with it for5-20 years know this very well. Take care that in trying to conserve resources that you do not ruin your life. Mine is ruined-and I thought just like you at the start of this road. > I believe you, I believe you! > In looking at rentals and even places to buy, tho, I have to tell you, > a lot of homes are sicker than mine. > > anything upholstered (I'm down to one couch now at this point anyway > in terms of upholstery).
