Guest guest Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 I know I have heard of people over 60 having the surgery. It's rare, but it has happened. My guess is that someone that old would do just as well as someone younger. We have greater life expectancies now, so 60 is no longer ancient. Unless you compare yourself to a child, you will need to be patient about recovery, especially if you haven't been able to do much before surgery.
