Yep. Jim has been working on this paper for over a year. I am so pleased

that others are speaking out so openly now. But I have to admit, the silence

of others has come at great personal expense to my family and me. This whole

mold issue has been quite an adventure in understanding human nature. But

hey, that is what here for, right? To learn?

I understand it in the big scheme of things and given the situation, think

distancing might have been the right thing for some to do. Because of this

libel suit, others have been afraid that their work would be tainted if they

openly associate with me. Which would be one of the goals of strategic

litigation against public participation, wouldn't it? But, they have no

problem

requesting deposition testimonies of the defense or asking me to explain how

the

mass marketing of the deceit has impacted public policy or using all the

letters of complaint against the AAAAI to defend their clients in court, or

putting them in contact with who they need, or..... I have been called every

name in the book for speaking about this deceit, including a false light

writing on the front page of the LA Weekly (three weeks before trial). Quite

frankly, I really don't give damn what people say. The deceit in science that

has

harmed so many over the past six years has just about been completely

castrated. Yes, that is right. One of the names I have been called is a ball

breaker.

C'est la vie.

That is why I have always been so pleased to be able to call you and a few

others my friends. You few have proven yourselves to be rare individuals in

my book who will speak out for the truth, no matter what. Regardless of my

own current situation, in which we are requesting a new trial and I will do it

on my own while it costs my family more money that I don't have, I am so

pleased with Jim's paper and that he and others are now speaking out so openly

about the deceit. People should know that Dr. ph LaDou had much to do with

helping to bring this deceit in science to greater light.

I am so pleased that the Federal GAO and Senator Kennedy's HELP Committee

have set it straight as to what the true current state of the science regarding

these illnesses really is. These two papers (one discussing what is Not

science and the other discussing what is) will make a tremendous difference in

the lives of many by shutting down the deceit that the physicians of ACOEM,

AAAAI and ACMT and the US Chamber of Commerce have shamefully perpetrated on

the American public.

The following will also be stopped. It is a video of Dr. Kelmans'

deposition in which he is discussing his usage of the ACOEM mold statement to

defeat

the claims of illness in a sick military family at Fort Sill. His client?

The Untied States Department of Justice. He says there are many others.

For me personally, what all of this means is that I am one day closer to

being able to close this deal of shutting down a deceit in the science of

marketing, a science I want to see kept to the highest standards of

integrity...

just as much as you all want to see the science of IAQ held to the highest

standards. And then... I can go back to being a happy little Realtor. Soon!!

There is no mistaking Dr Craner's position. When I talked with

him in preparation for my follow-up article (When Silence Isn't

Golden) to your interview in IE Connections, he wouldn't allow me

to quote him and further said he would stay silent until he could

do it right. Obviously, he felt he now has it right and I commend

him for speaking out.
