my 4 yr old daughter has had a low grade (around 100) fever for about five weeks

now with no explanation. her ears are clear (she has tubes).

she does get a recurring sinus infection which i know is in hiding at the moment

and will make it's appearance soon, but in the meantime, i have no explanation

for this fever.

her titers were a bit high for herpes 6, so we'll be starting valtrex soon. i'm

worried because the last time we tried valtrex, the fever shot to 103-104 on a

relatively low dose.

any ideas what this crazy underlying virus might be? could it just be herpes 6?

(she tested negative on all other viruses CMV, EB, Lyme, )

any one else have a similar experience?
