Guest guest
Tonight's airing of 60 minutes was very informative. By accident, neurologists have discovered that giving the sleeping pill " AMBIEN " to comotose or vegetative-state individuals actually does the " OPPOSITE " and not only " WAKES THEM UP " , but also " ACTIVATES THE LANGUAGE CENTER " in the frontal lobe part of the brain. I saw it with my own eyes thru videotapes of preAMBIEN and postAMBIEN on an individual. It was ASTONISHING and being a nurse, I just could not believe my eyes. In addition, the neurologists showed the preAMBIEN MRI and the postAMBIEN MRI and the pre-state just showed " yellow " or a nonawake frontal lobe area. After Ambien was given, the entire brain (including the language center) was ALIVE and full of red color. I saw for myself on 60 minutes, the patients went from a nonresponsive-state to having a conversation with other people in the room. I could not help but wonder if this medication might help those with speech impairments. I am already hunting a neurologist and even though I am normally against MRI's, I am willing to give it a go and see if it helps my Charlie Hart. <br>
