Guest guest
Yet another thing they need to get off thier tush and start studying. This is about as real as real gets. I know and so do so many others. Mystery Disease Makes Peoples' Skin Crawl: ------------------------------------------ Reports of a mysterious medical condition are cropping up across the country but doctors are divided on whether it is a real disease or all in their patients' heads. Called Morgellons Disease, patients who report having it describe sensations of creepy-crawlers beneath the skin and fibrous filaments oozing out of open wounds. Interest in the disease was recently rekindled after afflicted Texas teenager committed suicide about a month ago. Symptoms To date, no clinical studies have looked into Morgellons and only one paper mentioning Morgellons has been published in a medical journal. Appearing in a recent issue of the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, the paper is co-authored by members of the Morgellons Research Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to raising public awareness about the disease. As of February 2006, more than 2,000 reports of the disease have been reported on the Foundation's website. Reports come from all 50 U.S. states and 15 nations, including Canada, the UK, Australia and The Netherlands. The majority of reports have come from Texas, California and Florida. Patients with the disease often describe feelings of insects or parasites scuttling beneath their skin and open lesions that heal slowly and which ooze out blue and white fibers, some as thick as spaghetti strands. Attempts to remove the fibers are said to elicit shooting pains radiating from the site. The lesions range from minor to disfiguring in appearance and fibers appear either as single strands or as bundles. Patients also sometimes report the presence of fibers or black granular specks on their skin even in the absence of lesions. Some patients even report symptoms of the disease in their pets--dogs mostly, but also cats and horses. According to statistics from the Morgellons Research Foundation, about 95 percent of patients also report suffering from disabling fatigue, or " brain fog, " that hinders their ability to pay attention. Other reported symptoms include joint pain, sleep disorders, hair loss, decline in vision, and even the " disintegration " of perfectly healthy teeth. It appears that once patients contract the disease, they have it for life. To date, there have been no reports of spontaneous remissions. Strange fibers A preliminary analysis of the fibers suggests they are more than just lint from household materials such as clothing, carpets or bedding, said Randy Wymore, an assistant professor of pharmacology and physiology at Okalahoma State University and the director of research at the Morgellons Research Foundation. " The fibers are not common textiles, nor are they black specks of pepper, as several dermatologists have proposed, " Wymore told LiveScience. Further deepening the mystery, some analyses suggest the fibers might be made of cellulose, a molecule generally found in plants. " They're basically fibers that you wouldn't expect to see in humans, " said Raphael Stricker, a Lyme disease expert at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and a medical advisor to the Morgellons Research Foundation. The disease is named after a medical condition described in 1674 by the British author Browne. Known as " Morgellons, " Browne said the disorder caused children to " critically break out with harsh hairs on their backs... " The Morgellons Research Foundation says that it is doubtful that the 17th century disease is related in any way to modern day Morgellons. Skepticism Despite increasing reports of the condition, many doctors have barely heard of the disease and many treat it with a heavy dose of skepticism. Giradi, a dermatologist at the Yale School of Medicine, had never heard of Morgellons but when its symptoms were described to him, he was reminded of another disorder that is well known to doctors. " They just renamed it, " Giradi told LiveScience. " We just call it delusions of parasitosis. " Also known as Eckbom syndrome, delusional parasitosis is a psychiatric disorder in which patients fervently believe their bodies are infected by skin parasites that do not exist. " It's basically when a patient thinks that there's something coming out of their skin, a material or bug of some sort, when truthfully there's nothing there, " said Beaty, a dermatologist at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. In medical schools, physicians learn to watch out for the " matchbox sign " of delusional parasitosis, when patients bring in hair, skin or clothing lint, sometimes in matchboxes, that they claim contain the insects or parasites responsible for their torment. However, when examined, the samples reveal no such thing. The lesions and scratches sometimes seen on patients with delusional parasitosis are usually self-inflicted, Beaty said. " To rule out any infectious causes and also to put the patient's mind at ease, a lot of times we'll do skin biopsies, " Beaty said in a telephone interview. " If we feel that it'll be helpful, we might also start different anti-psychotic or anti-anxiety medicines. " Beaty said she was vaguely familiar with reports of Morgellons disease, but said that other doctors she had queried had never even heard of it. In response to rising media coverage about the condition, the Los Angeles Department of Health Services recently issued a statement that said bluntly: " No credible medical or public health association has verified the existence or diagnosis of 'Morgellons Disease.' The current description of the disease is vague and covers many conditions. " Wymore, the Oklahoma State University researcher, says that debating whether Morgellons is a real disease or not is not the right approach. " This population is suffering greatly, " Wymore said. " A better question would be, 'Is Morgellons Disease a purely psychiatric disorder?' and the answer is 'No.' Morgellons also has physical effects on a person. In addition to the skin lesions and the unusual fibers and other shed material, there are nervous system effects that include behavioral changes, cognitive changes and peripheral neuropathy. Guest guest
The CDC has given the " official " studies of Morgellons to Kaiser Permanente! and it's FRAUD ..see link below (http://www.rense.com/general80/fraudf.htm) Los Angeles Health Dept.'s Dr. Cyrus Rangan, denied any of the Victims that were made sick at the former Downey NASA/ Boeing Industrial Plant. He never examined anyone, nor did he ever speak to any of the sick. He attempted to go as far as to discredit 2 well known Toxicologists. Flat out refused any of the sick any care at all! Well gee, I wonder why??? Could it be that he is ALSO afilliated with Kaiser? He even gave a lecture on how Mycotoxins from Fungi/Mold won't make anyone sick???? And he was/is? a Pediatrician for Kaiser...-- Oh and I hear Kaiser bought and set up all of Los Angeles County Health Dept. Computers...hmmmm. and a bigger hmmm...the Medical Director for the State Health? went over to become the vice presidnet of Kaiser, whom oversaw the Senior healthcare? When it was reported to the Los Angeles Health Dept. that Kaiser had a bad case of Deadly Mold and MANY Kaiser Employees had Died!!! The Los Angeles Health Dept.'s Investigation said " Green and Black " stuff was found. When Kaiser was asked about the filthy conditions of the " Toilet Overflowing " time and time again...they said, " We don't keep track of every little incident " . That answer was good enough for the Health Dept. Oh but wait... an employee HAS TO CALL the special number to report ANY incedent, they are then given a Work Order Tracking Number! And the investigation that the Health Dept did on ALL of the Kaiser Employees that DIED? The Health Dept. reported only 1 case of Deadly Aspergillosis on record for the year of 2006. (can anyone come up with any discriptive words for this behaviour/activity)? I need a list. Kaiser and Gov. go back a long ways...Nixon Days! Most people on " " don't have a clue whats in store in the years ahead. Health Care for everyone? The plan is - Kaiser Healthcare for everyone? They have a slogan which is, Live Well and Thrive or is it Be Well and Thrive? But they built thier New Regional Medical Center on TOXIC CONTAMINATED LAND! They never disclosed that fact to any of the employees!!! Next they'll have a study on just why so many people are afflicted with this (LOL) so called delusions of parasitosis or Eckbom syndrome! There is a phrase I never knew about, which is, " The K in Kaiser stands for Kill " I think the CDC should do a study on how many Seniors have died in comparison to how many have been made well. Squeeze as much money they can from Seniors - look up Pill Splitting Kaiser did, for instance. Baby Boomers, are next in line! Make everyone aware of " Alternative Medicine " FDA wants to regulate Mother Natures Medicine Chest. There is no Money in " health " and tons of money in the business of keeping us " sick " !!! WAKE UP AMERICA Very few Dr.'s actually care about you being or staying healthy. The conspieracy, is to mask your symptoms, tell you, you're depressed and give you more meds that will only contribute to your further decline. Do they test these drugs? We know some leave out vital info or even fudge the results of tests. Who is at risk? Environmental Issues are and have been the frontline concerns and will continue. Take a good hard look at " ALL " of the Presidential Candidates! Vote for the ONE who has the Recovery Plan for a Future of a Healthy Existance in Mankind. Do we really want to continue being exposed to Infected Animals, Chemically Engineered Food, Bio-Hazardous Conditions? When will enough be enough? When it's too late? Another Steaming Question: Why did Kaiser build on Toxic Land and The City of Downey soon to build Low-Income Housing on the same Land; and why is Kaiser doing " Genetic Studies " while NASA continues the International Space Station? Those of us that have been doing our " homework " are to sick to go out onto the streets to wake the " zombielike " Public up. We will all soon be falling like dominos too sick and too weak to even say, Beam me up y! for more info - http://kaiserpapers.org and http://downey.kaiserpapers.info > > Yet another thing they need to get off thier tush and start studying. > This is about as real as real gets. Guest guest
I believe this illness is real just like we already know that you can get sick from toxic mold, etc.... And you are so right about Kaiser and this government that's why I posted the article from Dr. Mecola's website about the HPV Vaccine. It shows just how far " they " are willing to go to deny people their health!!!
Guest guest
i dont see morgellons anywhere and like hell it is a fraud? " We The People " If we dont pay attention " we " will loose our rights to our freedom. Guest guest
Morgellons is one of those " illnesses " like Fibromyalgia, which doesn't technically exist either but because they refuse to make the connection to environmental causes it has become it's own illness. But this is how they then are able to " create " more drugs for something that could be " cured " by a natural remedy. Morgellons, I believe, is another one of these environmental " illnesses " that they won't make the connection to environmental causes such as mold exposure. So in reality they really don't exist because, I believe, most illnesses are due to toxic overload so basically we are all suffering from the same thing but with different manifestations with different names. But for the sake of insurance, pharmaceuticals, etc. they do exist. I do believe these fibers are growing under the skin so they call it morgellons just like I do believe my achiness all over exist so they call it Fibromyalgia even though I know it's true cause is toxic mold exposure but look at the commercials now for FM they make it sound like it's something new and only this pill will help you. It's all about money!!!! The governmental agencies are not in the business to cure anything that's why it kills me when I see all these shows/advertisement about the cure for cancer. Doctor's have been curing cancer for a long time. > > From: happyruiam <happyru@...> > Subject: [] Re: Mystery Disease Makes Peoples' Skin Crawl > > Date: Sunday, October 26, 2008, 8:24 PM > > > > > > > The CDC has given the " official " studies of Morgellons to Kaiser > Permanente! and it's FRAUD ..see link below > > (http://www.rense. com/general80/ fraudf.htm) >
Guest guest
You are so on target. What I know 100% true and many of my friends back me up 100% on this is that before my major exposure to mold I NEVER had any skin issues at all. I NEVER had a sore that would open up while showering and bleed and bleed and bleed. I have played with microscopes for years and anyone who has knows the first things you start looking at is your own boogers, spit skin and so forth so I know I never had things growing out of my body. They can call it what they want but it IS a direct result of exposure. PERIOD. As far of the rest feel free to read my post Ive sent on the apartment tenant thing. This is so much more serious than I can explain here. Great post gsgrl
