And to add insult to ingery he looked about 20 yrs old. He was so rude. Moms nurse, n, was wonderful. She was working a 12 hour shift and was due to leave just about the time Mom started having serious pain. She wound up staying on an extra hour and a half until she got some meds and a Dr on the case. The worst thing which was causing alot of other problems was that Mom was not properly categorized as a medical stay or a surgical or whatever. They have a name for it which I can't remember. I caused alot of confusion and plan changing and there were so many Dr's giving different orders and opinions etc. or NOT giving any. I think the on call Dr last night got everything straightened out. I had a few moments of lost confidence which was a bit scary but I think things will be better today. And I think n will be back on the case too. We love n. I worry about the effects of the meds on Mom but she seems to be holding up. She should be much much better in her physical being. They removed 8 gall stone from the bile duct! The Dr said he never saw so many lodged in there. Thank you for the tip on talking to the Chief of Anesth. for a care plan. I have to chuckle about the term care plan cuz so far it doesn't seem like the right hand knows what the left hand is doing.
