Guest guest
Yes, I had a high ANA as well, along with a positive rheumatoid factor when I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. My TPO was +1300. This was one year ago. It really scared me too, so I know how you feel. I was assured that I did not have lupus. They ran a secondary blood test to determine more about the ANA results. I'm sorry, but I don't remember what that one was called. I was so overwhelmed with medical information at the time. Many of my symptoms are much better since diagnosis and starting synthroid. I continue to have joint pain, but the swelling has gone down. I originally started out with the generic levothyroxine, but it didn't help at all, so my doctor switched me to Synthroid and it has really helped. Try not to worry too much. Stress really does make symptoms worse. I really hope the best for you! Sent from my iPad
