Guest guest
Hi Joy, Thanks a lot for your detailed response. What do you mean by SB FlorActiv is resistant to abx? I thought the point of probiotics is to use it when you're taking abx. Is it suggested to take the probiotic only while on abx or all the time? How many capsules of this probiotic do you take daily? I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well lately and I do hope your 2nd specialist really helps you! Just curious, what color is your sputum on a daily basis? Is it always yellow on a daily basis? I have been spitting up yellow mucus on a daily basis for the past 4 years(is that normal for bronch patients?). Does that mean that I'm always infected? Have you ever taken abx solely because your sputum characteristics and/or volume have changed (even though you don't feel any physical symptoms)? How often do you get streaks of blood? It's scary but the doctors just say that it's irritation from coughing . . . What a frustrating disease! Do you usually take sputum cultures when you're having an exacerbation or do you find they're pretty much useless? Anyway, thanks again for your response. Hope you're doing better, Cassie
