Guest guest
: AH, but folks with autism are like snow flakes, as no two are alike. How can anyone speak for all folks with AS? Just as no folks with NS/NT can speak for all. We are all so unique. All we can do is offer our perspectives and how we experience the AS/NT connection. It does not matter if either side is correct, all we can do is tell our story so other's won't feel alone. That is what ASPIRES's is all about. Just me. Other's? ok lets try another analogy......CJ if i was a male obstetrician...I could deliver babies.....explain difficult presentations and have a lot of experience at obstetrics...in fact i could know everything there is to know about delivering a baby.....except one thing...what it feels like to have a baby. There may differences in experience at this process.......due to size of baby and mother..and more so the availability of drugs and pain relief.... but AS people know AS better than non AS people........can someone explain to me what it feels like to have a baby? 40 AS

Like you say, we are all snowflakes, whether we are AS, NT, or something else. I may be an Aspie, yet I no more understand some Aspies than I do some NTs.
