Guest guest
The patient is a 44-year-old female, gravida 4, para 2, who was admitted to the hospital on 9/29/99 for a hysteroscopic resection of an endometrial lesion, submucous fibroid vs. polyp and diagnostic laparoscopy for persistent ovarian cyst, possible operative laparoscopy. The patient was found on routine exam to have a s/l firmness? in the adnexae. She had a normal s/l ??CO 125??. A transvaginal sonogram also revealed an endometrial polyp vs. a fibroid and s/l ??a sonohystogram also attested to?? fibroid. The pelvic examination has already been mentioned. There was a s/l hermus? in both adnexae. At the time of the operation, an s/l internatal? small laceration was noted in the posterior peritoneum with a posterior retroperitoneal hematoma. Also, is it hysteroscopic resection - it almost sounded like cystoscopic resection? My spellchecker came up with internatal, but I cannot verify it in my Medical Dictionary. Any help on any of these question marks would be appreciated. Bev W. walhof@...
