Jefferson County school officials plan to make major renovations to a

portable classroom where a toxic form of mold was discovered.

Testing last week found just one potentially hazardous spore.

Additional test results, back late Tuesday afternoon, reveal it was

black mold.

Workers will pull out the classroom's insulation, among other changes.

Officials believe the mold is contained to the one classroom, but they

plan to test six other portable classrooms Wednesday as a precaution.

The affected students will move to other areas of the school during

the process.
