acyclovir/immunovir

Our 7 yr old has been on a course of immunovir for 50 days (initially

with controlling behaviours, anxiety, tantrums and sound sensitivity)

then seemed to come through the worst. We started acyclovir and came

of immunovir. Now seems to be spaced out but temperamental,

non-compliant, unhappy, insecure, generally fragile and sensitive.

He is normally a good natured, happy, compliant boy so this is all

very out of character. We have a further 1.5 months to go on acyclovir

before starting valtrex. OUr child is happy, in a mainstream school

with support, is verbal, academically very bright, sociable- has best

friend and plays with many children, very musical and loves sports and

activities. Traditionally he has slept 10.5 - 11 hrs per night form 5

yrs approx but now is only sleeping 1000 - 7am, although could be due

to b vit complex which we will test out tonight.

We chelated for several yrs on DMPS (TD) dmsa, he takes 50 supps per

day, CLO , probios and sacc boul , has done OT, 3.5 yrs of ABA, are

doing RDI, cranial osteopathy, AIT, light treatment, yoga, HBOT,

This antiviral protocol seems to be really hard on him. We have not

been able to do blood draw to ascertain which viruses but had enlarged

lymph glands- went down after immunovir- low uric acid and

quinolinate(sp?)

Any ideas much appreciated
