Mold Discovered At Valley School

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. -- Mold inspectors will go through every square

foot of Butte school in Queen Creek this weekend after a

teacher noticed mold growing through the walls of a classroom.

The school, only 7 years old, has already ripped out practically the

entire wall that separates two different classrooms.

School officials said there was a leak in a drainage pipe from the

roof air conditioner and when inspectors started poking around, they

found more mold all over the school, mostly behind baseboards.

Tests show the air is still clean to breathe for the school's 1,300

students
