Advertisement Council members Tuesday authorized City Manager Guy Henson to hire Oklahoma City law firm Whitten, Burrage, Priest, Fulmer, & Eisel to take action against " those parties responsible for the hotel's construction. " City Attorney Boles said it hasn't been determined who would be named as defendants in a potential lawsuit, but it likely will include contractors who worked on the project. The $16 million hotel at 5800 Will Road opened in Feb. 2006 to complement the city's Conference Center. The 152-room hotel is managed by the De Palma Hotel Corp. of Arlington, Texas. American International Group Inc., the hotel's insurance carrier, declined to pay the claim, leaving the city to shoulder the cost of the repairs, Boles said.
