Guest guest
(CHARGEr) does not have this problem, but my red-headed husband does! His ducts are constantly plugging, and he can tell when they are starting up. I'll notice his eyes are getting a bit pinkish, and then puffy on the surrounding skin. He usually gets a washcloth, with as hot a water as he can stand, and places it over his eyes for awhile. He will have me rotate between him and the sink (run the circuit!) with another cloth so that it stays fairly hot on his eyelids. It usually draws out most of the " gunk " from the duct and unblocks it. Occassionally he has had to get an ointment from the doctor for this. (The first time he got blocked ducts really bad after we got married, he had to have them opened by an opthalmologist. Then he got the ointment and it usually does the trick if he catches it soon enough.) I guess being a red-head, he is prone to the tear ducts becoming plugged...his mother and grandmother are the same way and they are red-heads. He also had a hard time with contacts because his eyes would dry out too easily. Just some " other " info for you all. Might help, might not.
