Guest guest
HI Gill, Don’t wait till July. If it were me I would call the doctor. Could those spots be the little spider angiomas that sometimes crop up as a result of AIH? I AM a whiner and I would call if it were me. Hope you are feeling better! [ ] new symptom Hi I woke up this morning with a vast amount of small red pin prick sized spots on my arms, and back mainly and was just wondering if anybody else has this sort of thing going on too. Im still getting little nosebleeds almost daily now and yesterday i had awful aches at the bottom of my back. I really sound like im whinging on here but I dont see my doctor until July and dont know whether what is happening here is just normal for AIH or not -- Im not on Pred now but Im still on Imuran. Any info is helpful Take care all Gill UK __________________________________________________
Guest guest
The spider angioma's crop up when the blood cannot flow easily through the scarred (damaged) liver and back pressure builds up. The varacial bleeds are the extreme result of this blood back pressure . Gill you should have these checked out. When I had them they were primarily on my chest. Guest guest
, I think your new syptoms are RA related. When I am starting to feel a flare coming, it effects my fingers and toes the most. The swelling starts at the ball of the feet and I care barely stand/walk and it hurts to curl my toes in anyway. That is my body telling me that I need to stay in bed. Normally for me, the pain subsides after about a day. You are not alone in that symptom. Feel better!! > > Hi everyone! > I have a new symptom I was wondering if I could get some feedback on to see if its anything related to RA. In the past when I have had any foot pain, its more near the ankle. I woke up this morning and the top of my left foot near the toes hurts so badly that I could barely even stand and was difficult to walk. I've been in bed resting for several days due to an upper respiratory infection. I didn't injure it in any way, I didn't have it stepped on, and I did not hit it on anything in my sleep. I tried to curl my toes under to see if I could stretch it out. I was thinking a pulled muscle, although how I would pull one of those in my foot is beyond me. If I point them toward the ceiling they hurt some, but more when curled toward the floor. This is completely new to me. I don't have any pain in the leg. This pain is a level 8 on a 1 to 10 pain scale. I'm not able to take the Sulfasalazine at this time and thought perhaps this is a flare? I tend to start my symptoms > on one side of my body occassionally, then later the same thing happens to the other side. I'm quite perplexed on this one! Thanks so much:) > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
Thank you so much ! I haven't been able to take the Sulfasalazine for quite a few days now, so I thought I'd get a flare. I can barely stand or walk. I called U of M's rheumatologist on call. He advised to take an Ultram ER 200 for the pain and to try to keep ice on it. It's right below the second and third toe and so far luckily its only on one foot. Hopefully this will work:) Until then I am in bed with the ice pack <man_u8@...> wrote: , I think your new syptoms are RA related. My foot pain is near the ball of the foot, on th bottom more than the top, sort of where it goes into the arch. It has been so bad this week that at times I can't put my weight on my feet, a first for me. So far my ankles have been OK. I think these things are different for us all, sigh. Guest guest
Hi . My daughter with ank. spondylitis has the same foot pain that you are describing. Hers is definitely her arthritis. You should check in with your doctor to make sure. Myndi > > > > Hi everyone! > > I have a new symptom I was wondering if I could get some feedback on > to see if its anything related to RA. Guest guest
Has anyone had the pads of their fingertips turn white under the skin? Can't tell if it is fungal, heavy metals, or? It goes away but then returns. Almost looks like white powder or blistering under the skin.
