Does insecticide in vehicle break down and disappear over time?

1. Does insecticide sprayed inside a vehicle break down over time? Grandma, who

lives on a dairy farm, sprayed fly spray into the air in her van several monthy

ago. How much do we need to worry about that? Does it break down in the heat and

air? Would an ozone generator help get rid of any residue? Should we use some

kind of cleaner on the windows and cloth upholstery? Reupholster? Would the

insecticide be in the air conditioning unit, too?

2. Last year Grandpa spilled some milk on the carpet and then tried to fix the

sour milk smell by spraying a deodorizer from the farm store over it. Any

suggestions on how to get rid of any residue from that? Would we need to cut the

carpet area out?

Um, yes, there is a smell in the vehicle, but it's hard to identify the smell

since some hay and so forth has been hauled in the back. Around a dairy,

everything tends to smell a bit cow-like. ;)

Thanks.
