October 14, 2008 The doctor who diagnosed a South Whitehall woman with chemical sensitivity disorder and designed the controversial modular housing unit known as " the bubble " on her property faces possible disciplinary action in Texas for allegedly practicing " pseudoscience " and treating patients in a manner that could be harmful. The Texas Medical Board began action against Dr. Rea last year when it filed a complaint against him, saying his " unscientific tests mislead patients into believing they have either an autoimmune or immunologic basis for their complaints, when in fact, they do not. " According to the complaint, Rea, who runs the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, injects patients with neurotransmitters, mycotoxins, jet fuel, natural gas and other chemicals.
