Guest guest
Re: vocal chord Bradley: Aubrey...14months?? Wow, time flies. When they did the MRI did they look at the cranial nerves? I think it is nerve VII the facial nerve to motor of submaxillary and sublingual salivary glands. Just curious why the children with CHARGE have the incredible saliva production. I guess the option to surgery would have been to teach her to projectile spit like the older kids I know!!X~! There was an Applied Kinesiologist that worked with the drooling aspect of saliva successfully with some Down's Syndrome Kids. (wasn't a life threatening thing of course) He worked alot on the nerves even from inside the mouth. He is a chiropractor as well and works also with Cranial Sacral Therapy. He was down Casey's way, on the Santa Cruz, San line in California. (Dr. ) I'm thinking of those who mentioned a hesitation on surgery on those glands.
