Valtrex in conjunction with Diflucan?

Our DAN is recommending Valtrex for a positive HSV6 titer.

The nurse told us to do 30 days of Valtrex first then add the

Diflucan.

We haven't gotten the written order yet from our DAN but don't most of

you do the Valtrex and Diflucan at the same time?

Yes both at same time. It will kick up yeast big time and if you are having any

yeasty behavior / this will make it worse.

You always want to start them one at a time to make sure you know what's doing what.  After you get them both on board you will be on them at the same time but you need to start them individually.
