Barb, try drinking a little pepsi/doet pepsi to burp, it may help.

I don't keep any soda pop on hand but I could buy some soda water or

perhaps alka selzer. Do you think alka selzer would work? I could keep

that longer without it going flat.

Burping?

That has never happened with me. Sometimes it clogs me up, (constipation)

and I already had reflux.. (which can be bad)

Someone here mentioned MiraLax and somebody else mentioned Milk of Magnesia..

Those are great when it constipates me.

Usually I just try to drink as much water as I can and get some fiber every day

at least once or twice.. after the cholestyramine.

Its easy to forget to drink enough water..

If I have gotten a lot of mold exposure, I have to take cholestyramine 4x a day

and then if I feel clogged up, I usually take some milk of magnesia in

the evening with a cup of water..

It (MoMagnesia) is also an antacid so it maybe might calm burping?

Stomach acid is acid, so acid base reaction = briefly more burps,

then burp neutralization? (just guessing?)
