Guest guest
Quoted from KN: " Not that mold victims do not suffer severely, but they are not going to die tomorrow " Mold victims have died and more could die tomorrow or the next day or the next day... I don't agree with her on this part of her response to why she hasn't supported any mold charities, yet. People need to know that you can die from toxic mold exposure.... > > This is a new article about the Mold Movie. The screenings for the movie will start in April. Guest guest
I agree with you on that point too--many mold victims have died. I didn't understand her comments about not donating to mold charities, but I assume there must be more to it that she didn't say. Hopefully their movie will help to further our cause of getting out the truth about the health effects of toxic mold. ________________________________ From: gsgrl2000 <gsgrl2000@...> Sent: Friday, March 27, 2009 9:16:21 PM Subject: [] Re: 3/25/2009 Article about the Mold Movie Quoted from KN: " Not that mold victims do not suffer severely, but they are not going to die tomorrow "
Guest guest
I absolutely agree, what about the man in Nevada who worked in the health dept or the Judge in Miami? http--www.ktnv.com-global-story.asps=8695699<http://www.ktnv.com/global/story.as\ p?s=8695699>. In fact even the CDC admits that Trichocethecene exposure can cause death. People do and will continue to die from mold exposure until Doctors get educated and organizations like ACOEM get exposed for their conflict of interest. Guest guest
Absolutely - also - they stated that car HVAC blowing in their faces hurt - there's mold in those units - some more than others. ------- > > I absolutely agree, what about the man in Nevada who worked in the health > dept or the Judge in Miami? > http--www.ktnv.com-global-story.asps=8695699<http://www.ktnv.com/global/story.as\ p?s=8695699>. > In fact even the CDC admits that Trichocethecene exposure can cause > death. >
Guest guest
Just think the car a/c unit 'filter', if there is one, never gets cleaned out. I wonder what that looks like after a few years? My car just recently started smelling moldy. I'm so unhappy about it. I hardly ever use a/c but occasionally. It is 12 years old though. I had to be away from it for a few days to notice it. I went out of town for a few days and when I picked up my car in the airport parking lot, it smelled moldy. > > Absolutely - also - they stated that car HVAC blowing in their faces hurt - there's mold in those units - some more than others. > ------- > >
Guest guest
Some car do have in cabin filters that can be changed. Another thing I just read recently is to put your climate control on re circulate, NOT FRESH AIR when you turn the car off. That keeps moisture from getting in during the evening, anytime of the year! >>> ust think the car a/c unit 'filter', if there is one, never gets cleaned out. Guest guest
--- Barb, if you decide to buy another car some day, Saabs have a charcoal filter in the AC/heat that can be changed when needed. I dont know how many cars have that, but Saabs do and they are great cars. D In , " barb1283 " <barb1283@...> wrote: > > Just think the car a/c unit 'filter', if there is one, never gets cleaned out. Guest guest
Thanks. I tried to have my cabin filter changed and found I didn't have one, a 97 Camry. Toyota said the newer Camry's have them but my year didn't. Some newer Toyota cars have a hepa filter for cabin I was told when I was there. I just wonder about the a/c though. I've never heard of 'cleaning your a/c filter' for car maintenance, so they must be a mess. I think the biggest contributor to increased mold illness is probably the air conditioning industry, second might be drywall construction. > > > Some car do have in cabin filters that can be changed. Guest guest
I use a small HEPA filter in my car. It plugs into the cigarette lighter. It's a Roomaid, manufactured by Americare. I bought it at www.allergybuyersclub.com > > Does anyone know if Hondas have an air filter,or can anyone recommend a > filter for the cabin? Guest guest
: I believe Needs catalogue has a filter that works off of your cigarette lighter, My son had an older Honda Accord that had no filter, not sure about the newer ones. Guest guest
I never thought of that. I have a power inverter that hooks right up to the battery. I should use that in my car with a good filter. Guest guest
Are there remediation protocols for cars? Does anyone know? I've had some issues in the air vents of our volvo and have had it cleaned out by the dealership a few times. But after some months it seems to come back. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks, Sam > Absolutely - also - they stated that car HVAC blowing in their faces hurt - there's mold in those units - some more than others.
