Guest guest
Traditional allergy shots made my symptoms worse. I would not recommend them.I have done a couple of alternative medicine treatments which help but to do not fix the problem. good luck
Guest guest
Allergy treatments didn't help me -I would definitely detox-I have been sick since Feb 2006 and detox was the only way I got better. Not a doctor and I have no medical expertise, just know what worked for me. I don't think we are sick from the allergy I think it is more neurotoxicity from the mycotoxins- am I right? hopefully someone on this forum can intelligently answer that question a whole lot better than I.[?] . Guest guest
-- When I first got ill from mold I was told that the allergy testing would not be accurate due to the fact that my body was too toxic and the allergic response would not be accurate enough to make the antigen. If you ARE allergic, detox your body first and then the injections may help you, but not before you detox. Guest guest
Sadly, your doctor, like MOST doctors, is a putz. I am 66 years old. I have had asthma and allergies since the age of 9. I have had toxic mold reactions for the last 12 years. Based on MY experience, taking asthma medications will only releive thae part of your suffering which is asthmatic and allergic, in origin. In MY experience, it releived about 50% of my suffering, which still left me pretty sick, until I left my moldy environment. In MY experience, the only cure for the TOXIC part of your suffering, is to leave your environment, or make your environment mold-free. If it takes more than a few days to remediate your present environment, the permanent damage to your body might be irreversible. The difference between " asthma " mold reaction and " toxic " mold reaction, is that the " asthma " negative effects are " reversible " , and the " toxic " negative effects, if you are exposed to them long enough, are IRREVERSIBLE. As far as desensitization injections are concerned, based on MY 15 year experience with them, a long time ago, they are worthless, and have the potential for making you deathly ill. They are recommended by doctors, simply because they are the PRODUCT that the medical profession is currently selling. In my opinion, as soon as medical science learns what REALLY causes allergy and asthma, these injections will join the other discredited medical orthodoxys of their time, such as blood letting and leeches. Remember, your doctor is recommending these injections, because HE BELIEVES that your medical problem is 100 percent allergic and asthmatic, and that as soon as the injections treat the asthma and allergy, you will " STOP YOUR INSANE BELIEF THAT MOLD HAS A 'TOXIC' EFFECT ON YOU. " HE is convinced that no such " toxic " effect exists. Guest guest
I think that some have allergies, some have toxic injury, and some have both. I tried the allergy shots at first but I would get rashes and I had infection in my body from candida/yeast. The asthma inhalers and antiobiotics can contribute to the yeast. So the allergist would stop the injections if I got rashes and said I couldn't take the injections if I had infection in my body. After a while I just stopped. My mom swears the allergy shots are the greatest, but she has been doing it for ever-- like 25 years or so. I guess we are all different. , " delanaflys " <delanaflys@...> wrote: > > Thank you, what should i detox with and will it help if i still have some mold around me, i don't think it is the same kind of mold that made me sick where i lived before, but there is mold. >
Guest guest
" such as blood letting " Blood letting is still used for the treatment of hemochromatosis. I have a friend who goes to have a pint of blood removed every month. But I do agree with you about the shots. They wanted to give them to my daughter because she was allergic to mold. I asked the doctor what if she is like me and has a genetic inability to filter toxins? Can you assure me that the mold you inject her with is mycotoxin free? He didn't even argue the point. He knew I had him and even said I knew more about mold exposure than anyone he knew. Sharon H.

Guest guest
What is a 'detoxing mineral'? A broad spectrum of minerals or particular ones? The oxygen therapy was hyerbaric or other method? > >>Hi Sharon, > > My family and I went to a detox clinic in SC for about a month where we had to go in dry heat saunas each day for a total of 3hrs-this is to basically melt the fat where the toxins are stored as well as taking huge amounts of detoxing minerals and supplements Chlorella,Milk Thistle,Glutathione,Garlic,Pectasol,PAK and lots more.We also recieved 2hs oxygen therapy each day, lymphatic drainage,IVs of vitamins and alpha lipoic acid. It is a pretty intense program 8-5/6 five days a week. If you want to check out their website it's www.coem.com. I think that will give you a lot more info than I can remember. > > Hope this helps > > .
