Guest guest
Good for you to have the courage and strength to put your neck out like this. I hope that you find a doctor who understands. Television being entertainment it often makes fools out of those who make the mistake of taking it seriously. In the long run, I guess its hit or miss. For each bad reporter who just wants to show conflict and drama, there is at least one good one out there too. It would be nice if the ratio of good editors was as favorable! But then, I guess they would not have their jobs, and TV would not be TV. Guest guest
Hi Dana, You appear to have omitted three vital bits of data from your story. Can you tell US(1)Are you still living in the moldy home? (2)If you have moved out of the moldy home, how many years had you lived there? (3)How long has it been, SINCE you moved out of your moldy home? I am not a doctor, but based on my personal experience, and that of my father, I believe that once the mycotoxins have been eliminated from your bloodstream, any continued suffering stems from the permanent damage done to the various organs of your body (ie: heart, lungs)during the period of time that you were actively exposed to the mycotoxins. I was forced to leave my job and have been unable to work for the past fix years. Most doctors have never even heard of Mycotoxicosis and/or they have no idea of how to treat it. And most doctors don't even believe toxic mold and/or mycotoxins from inhalation can make people as sick as my daughter and I have been along with all those at who have also been suffering in silence. Guest guest
I didn't want my intial email to be a book but unfortunately I am still living in my moldy apartment and have been living here since 1995 not knowing until 2004 that it was mold causing my health problems. And yes I will always have residual affects even if I get out of my moldy apartment. I have permanent damage from all the exposure. My daughter has been currently staying with my mother for the past year and a half. She can't be in the apartment at all without vomiting.... Guest guest
the longer a building has mold growth and moisture problems the more contaminated it becomes. cumulative. the higher the dose your exposed to the more damage it causes to your system, organs. overall. at low doses the types or type of mold may cause symptoms known to be caused by that mold type but the toxins affect the whole system. the higher the dose your getting, the less your immune system can cope, the more your liver wull suffer and your brain and other organs. get out of there. the simple fact is that with severe damage you are not going to recover, ever. severe damage to tissues, become fibrotic, permenant damage. nerve endings fray to the point they do not heal. blood vessels are damaged, some that certain organs depend on like the eyes, and BBB damage lets infections go to your head where vessell damage there leads to more damage. spinal cord damage leaves you suffering with repeated csf leaks. damage to all your mucosa lineings from your head/sinuses to your lungs, stomach,gi,intestines, bowel leaves it all reactive to further toxin.chemical exposures that your body well react to in one way or another. not fun. get one or both olfactory tracts severly damage and after a ehile when it has tried to heal but just becomes a usless dead organ and you wont be able to smell or even taste what can hurt you. get out. plain and simple. I would have lived in the strrets if I knew it would have saved me from liveing with this nightmare. > On Tue, Dec 9, 2008 at 11:15 PM, gsgrl2000 <gsgrl2000@...> wrote: > > > I didn't want my intial email to be a book but unfortunately I am > > still living in my moldy apartment

I was simply answering someones question. Duhh, I know they are accumalitive, I didn't say they weren't.... confused about your comment!!!!! > > > I didn't want my intial email to be a book but unfortunately I am > > still living in my moldy apartment and have been living here since > > 1995 not knowing until 2004 that it was mold causing my health > > problems. Guest guest
I have told my story more than once on this sight and like I've said before unfortunately I have not been able to get out. I don't need a lecture on how bad toxic mold is and it's effects, accumalative or not. I'm well aware... Guest guest
Dana, glad you submitted you story. Good job. I know it is difficult to move for many especially if you haven't worked for some time or in this economy. Even when you move it doesn't necessary work out, I have moved 8 times in the last ten years. I would have never been able to do it without my husband though. I don't know if you are alone, but hang in there. > > just thought you would like to see the story that I sent in to Mystery Diagnosis. We should all send in a story that way maybe one of ours will be chosen to be aired on the show.
