TOLEDO (WTOL) - Amberlyn hasn't been able to sleep in her own

bed for almost a month because of the black mold that's crept into

her apartment at Hidden Valley Estates on S. McCord.

Trouble is, she recently got out of the hospital and was so looking

forward to being home. But the culprit she says made her sick in the

first place is still there.

Yep, that black mold is just about in every corner of her place,

even though it had been cleaned out.

Amberlyn's boyfriend discovered the mold during her last hospital

visit.

" I was scared to death they were testing me for a brain tumor, "

Amberlyn said.

It was a relief the problem wasn't a brain tumor, but Amberlyn says

she's " severely allergic to mold. "

So, she wants her money back so she can get another place.

The owner of the apartments said he will give her security

deposit and let her out of the lease.
