Welcome to all our new members! There are so many of you all of a sudden! How

exciting! I hope at this time when you might be overwhelmed that you will be

able to find the support and hope you need through this egroup.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is and I'm the Newsletter

Editor for IMDSA. My husband and I live with our 4 kids in the Seattle,

Washington area. My oldest son was diagnosed with MDS right after his 2nd

birthday when his speech was not picking up. We got him into Early Intervention

right away and shortly after, found IMDSA. Now he's in 1st grade and loving it.

After lurking on the egroup for awhile, I finally answered one of Kristy's

requests for help and became the Newsletter Editor. I am thoroughly enjoying my

role in bringing information to all of our IMDSA members. Our newsletter, MOSAIC

WORLD is full of articles, tips and information for families with individuals of

all ages living with MDS. It also has some unique features that spotlight those

individuals and their accomplishments. As an IMDSA member, you receive the

quarterly newsletter (among other benefits) as well as access to our archives of

past newsletters. So, if

you're looking for information, tips from professionals and stories from others

going through what you've gone through and will go through, the newsletter is a

great resource.

For more information about joining IMDSA go to www.imdsa.org.

Welcome to the group! I hope you all find the answers and support you are

looking for!
