Guest guest
Hello everyone, I don't post often but do receive the emails in digest form each day. I am decompressed (2002) and detethered (2006) and several other surgeries for other unrelated things. I'm currently battling a couple of things. One of which I think I have under control - nerve pain in my legs. I have worked that out through physical therapy and walking on the treadmill. . .how that happened was through the good hands of my physical therapist (she is a Saint and a good friend of 7 yrs) and my trusty treadmill and the grace of God. But I'm still trying to figure out my vision issues and my poor Optomatrist (sp?) is I know searching and reaching for answers. He has decided to try " vision therapy " . Here's the deal: Left eye: near-sighted Right eye: far-sighted Prism: so bad that if I had the full prescription it would be unbearable to wear the glasses (that's what he said) And then something else he says and I can't remember. . . I can't drive at night anymore and Ocular migraines Abnormal oculomotor studies I had the field vision test done twice about 6 months ago and failed it twice but not in the same way. . . both times I failed it but in different areas of the grid. . ??? It's very frustrating for both myself and the poor eye doctor. I think he referred me to another eye doctor for vision therapy because he doesn't quite know how to help which is a good thing. Can anyone else relate to this? Thanks for your help in advance! Wyoming
