, Ya, nice way to start. My best guess after a pretty good job of you

explaining all the details is this. I will assume you had taken your pain meds

that day and drank as well That is probably your main bad mix Alcohol and Zoloft

arnt recommended but I have never known it to be much of an issue. BUT, if in

fact you had just a couple, as in two, drinks than I feel what you did is first

detox, meaning your body had been rid of the same tolerance level you may have

had before, then you didnt eat much, then the medication, then the Alcohol and

whatever it may have been that pulled the trigger assuming you are not regularly

violent. Mix all that with what you have read and know about the toxin illness

and you put your body in a position it could no longer tolerate.

I know this as well. I quire drinking when I got ill because I was no longer

able to tolerate it. It tasted bad, made me sick and gave me headaches. Do to

your previous candida issues Alcohol is of course the last thing you need and

the same with the toxin illness.

You did to much, too soon, and all together. I am not your parent but ... No no.

Your on way to much medication to think about drinking at all. You could be

dead. Also since you know you blacked out I would strongly recommend you leave

the Alcohol to the others. I am sure many of us have mixed meds and drank before

but when you put all the other factors you have going on in the mix I dont see

how there would be any positive outcome out of this. Plus you will get flagged

and not be able to get the medication you need any more if that has not already

happened. I can tell you it has at the hospital. This I know for sure.

Be careful and I really hope you didn't loose any more than a little pride from

it all.

hey everyone!

I have not been on for awhile so first things first...Health, Love,

Laughter for 2009!

Anyway, I like many of you take quite a drug coctail for this @#%$ & *$

illness. Zoloft has been useful for past 9 or so months keeping

anziety and menopausal symptoms. Doctor recently increased oxycodone

from 1x4xday to 2x3xday with a flexeril/bentyl back up because pain

is hard tomanage due to candidas infection exactly 1 year ago on top

of fungal infection, I beleve is systemic because every infectio I

have had has fungal sumthin or another, nose, uti, gut you know the

drill! He also put me on a hypothroidd med like 6weeks or so cuz t3

and t4 levels were a little low. Everyone I know is like ooohh Oxy,

wow thats great...Im like noooo I dont tKE FOR THE HIGH i TAKE IT FOR

THE EXTREME PAIN IM IN...DUH! aNYWAY Something happened new years

eve...I did have like 2 drinks....havent drank much since all this

started 1 1/2 years ago. ButI guess I just snapped...dont remember

much...husband does....violent. ..out of control etc. So I sleeped

all thru thursday and friday with out waking up I do have sleeping

pills..Temazepan but dont remember taking any and the bottle looks

the same. By sat husband was freaked so bad I wAS woken up by police

officers and my daughter getting me out of a very deep sleep,

haandcuffs anf a trip to local hospital. Husband was ready tooput me

on a 72ghour psyche hold. Even then with out taken any medication,

that I knowof for3 days I was still out of it, luckilly they did not

keep me. They said I had pretty high levels of what dont know.

Also just before earlier in the week I did a 48hour detox and body

cleanse.didnt eat much tues or weds dut to the liguid detox. I haVE

JUST COME OFF ANOTHER CANDIDA INFECTION I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING SINCE

oCT AND HAD JUST ALSO HAD tRCHAMONAS.. .AGAIN LIKE THE WEEK BEFORE.

so my questions are: Infection in body, Antiinfection rx, body

detox, addiction/withdrawl or JUST BLEW A GAsket responsible? ?? I

know i HAVE READ several posts on anger and out burst but this one

almost cost me my marriage and honstly I dont remeberr much and

never seen it coming. It literall is an angry violent monster like I

am possed or is it more likely invested with this illness. I know

thAT inthe past when I have done a major detoxing of any kind, I have

the strangest dreams/feelings lkie the fungus knows I am trying to

kill it and its like it fights back...kinda like good vs evil

enternal/mental battle. What a way to start thenew year huh? Any

way ANY IMPUT,RESPNCE, DIGNOSIS...yEH iM craZY TO...ALL PSYCHO... OH

AND SOR ABOUT LOUSING TYPE JOB...NEVER WAS MY FORTE!

t^HANKS gUYS

You poor thing!

What comes to mind is that the detox you did earlier in the week may have

been way too severe on your body. You may have released too many toxins and

possibly drugs that your body and fat cells were storing, and your body and

brain short-circuited. I know that while in WD from SSRIs, I have heard it

over and over again to NOT do any detox, or even any hard exercise, but to

keep it steady and moderate. I have also heard to not do acupuncture or

massage...

Hope that's helpful, and the only other thing I would add is that alcohol

isn't always predictable, and may have played a role.

Best,

Deb
