I think it important because of the reasons they gave. Most regulations are shaped to protect the most people from the most harm. The FDA acted after only twenty (20) people were harmed. But more importantly is this quote in the article: " There are many people who use these and use them fine, " said Ganley, who heads FDA's office of nonprescription products. " But there are people who are developing severe kidney injury, and it's important we try and identify who is at risk. " It is that change in thinking which I hope will spread to other areas, especially the effects of water damaged buildings on people.
