Recipes for Research Book is almost here!

Hi Everyone

You have probably heard by now that IMDSA has purchased more of our Recipes for

Research books to sell as our year-end fundraiser. This book provides you with

lots of information pages on mosaic Down syndrome, Frequently Asked Questions

concerning MDS, almost 20 pages submitted by families so you can see what it is

like for other families whose children have MDS, and loads of speech and motor

skill tips to help you help your child.

 

All this and 200 recipes from our families throughout the world to share with

you to try real recipes that our families use throughout the world!

 

We have just gotten word that our Recipes for Research books will be shipped to

us this week! These make fantastic holiday gifts for friends, family and

especially those teachers, therapists and doctors who serve you and your family!

 

We have only purchased 100 of these books, so be sure to order yours before they

sell out! When these are gone, we will not be purchasing more, so if you want

Kristy,

Is there any way to check that I ordered mine?  I did it a while ago, but since

that time, my old computer crashed and everything I had in it.  So, I'm not sure

if I completed my order or not.

and I forgot a point about the eating survey, as I was only thinking of my

daughter....but I watch another young woman with T21 before and after school

[have for the last three years].  Anyway, she is 13, and she does over eat.  She

loves carbohydrates and really over-eats those.  I have to limit her [per her

mother's request] and when I do, she gets very upset with me.  She is also

becoming overweight, and we are working on developing good exercise habits [both

at my house and at home] 

I am very interested in this survey.
