Guest guest
When we get the results back from the blood work that Dr. Shoemaker had rerun see where I am at and we may also have to get the house retested if they are not better the ERMI we had done in Oct was good but had just had the floors redone and carpet pulled up. If my tests are better I will try the lower doses been pretty lucky that it doesn't seem to bother me as much as others. I was taking the alpha lipoic acid for awhile but not the other you mentioned I do take NAC. Dr Shoemaker has me on high doses of EPA and DHA he just sent me results on HGH Beta 1 and mine was extremely high but unforunately my blood pressure is normal to low so I can't do the tx to bring that count down so waiting to talk to him. Thank you for info will google neuropathy like you suggested the tingling and numbness drives me nuts it started just before Christmas. Guest guest
Lee, I'm looking at this older post about your numbness and tingling problem. I have that new this year also in my feet, mainly right but some in left and doctor hasn't come up with an answer to it. Just said that can be from alot of causea and that seemed to be his answer. Have you had any improvement? My internist sent me to neurologist who pushed and pulled on toe area " testing " it, and now it is inflamed and swollen. Sometimes I think doctors are the devil. Honestly!! What couldn't Dr Shoe do because of low blood pressure? I have low blood pressure also, so wondering what treatment you couldn't do because of that. > > When we get the results back from the blood work that Dr. > Shoemaker had rerun see where I am at and we may also have to get > the house retested if they are not better the ERMI we had done in Oct > was good but had just had the floors redone and carpet pulled up. > > If my tests are better I will try the lower doses been pretty lucky > that it doesn't seem to bother me as much as others. > I was taking the alpha lipoic acid for awhile but not > the other you mentioned I do take NAC. I have low blood > pressure also, so wondering what treatment you couldn't do because of that. > Dr. Shoe told me when I talked to him that the numbness and tingling meant I was reexposed, still trying to figure out where, told him I went to a couple of furniture stores and thought it was from the chemicals he said no it had to have mold there also. He told me adjust my CSM according the tingling in my hands and feet. Guess he is now using a treatment to help lower the TGF Beta1 in people but if you have normal to low blood pressure (which I do) I don't qualify to use it. (my TGF was very high) My tingling had disappeared mostly now or at least down to a level that is not as bad. When I go back to see him will ask him more about the tx. are you still being exposed? Guest guest
Yes, I have been reexposed. I also have low blood pressure, so just wondering. > > ---What couldn't Dr Shoe do because of low blood pressure? Guest guest
I was reading up on numbness and tingling in feet and came across some recommendations, one of which we bring up here alot, alpha lipoic acid: http://www.footpaincenter.com/shopping/neuropathy/alpha-lipoic-acid.php and also the foot doctor I'm seeing gave me Metanx, which is just a prescription version of B6, B12, folic acid, which are supposed to be important to healing, and he isn't even an alternative doctor...just the pharmacy industry is getting in on the trend toward vitamins. I just hope they don't take over the industry. I took the Rx since it means my insurance will pay for it but I doubt it would be better than a good quality over the counter brand. I'd hate to have to always convince my doctor I need a vitamin. > > ---What couldn't Dr Shoe do because of low blood pressure? Guest guest
> Sam, Don't know the name other than it is a common prescription I believe lowering blood pressure that would be why people with normal to low blood pressure would be ruled out from using it. When I go to see him again will ask for more info on it. Lee > What is it that Shoemaker is using to lower the TGF Beta1?
