Guest guest
Well, I will find it. My friend who is a police officer and a deacon in my church cited it to me one night after church. Now, mind you, he was just " giving me friendly grief " because I had gotten out of my car to get a bag of clothes I was passing on to another family, but he definitely quoted the KY statute where it is illegal to leave a child unattended in a vehicle. Even if it's not illegal where you live, there are a lot of things that aren't illegal that aren't wise. It's not illegal to put a baby in a rear-facing carseat in the front seat of a car with a passenger airbag, but it's certainly not wise. It's not illegal to inhale the fumes from white-out, but it's certainly not wise. It's best to use common sense judgment in situations like these. As I said in my original comment on this issue, I was much more willing to have someone a little " huffy " with me for not returning my shopping cart than to risk harm to my baby -- either from something going haywire with the car or from some malicious person taking her.
