Guest guest
DITTO!!! Money could go to fixing our decaying schools and other public buildings!!!!! YEP. What a waste of money. I see some of the highlights for Florida - 1 MILLION - Municipal Grounds Landscape Retrofit - Upgrade landscaping to replace large turf areas with native plantings to reduce reliance on potable water supplies. Project would also result in the reduction of fertilizer/chemical applications 150 Thousand dollars - Vehicle storage building - solar powered/LEED certified Intended to extend vehicle life by corrosion reduction **************You're invited to Hollywood's biggest party: Get s updates, red carpet pics and more at Moviefone. Guest guest
Just looking at the states that are important to me, is a little shocking to say the least!! Alaska, all goes to one city Anchorage. Arizona, who has the lowest funding in the US for education and just cut another 140 million form there nothing buget. All of it basicly goes to road repair. We wouldn't want those seniors to have an uncomfortable ride now would we ??? Thanks for nothing! snk1955@... wrote: This may seem off topic, but as we go thru this economic recovery I think it is important for people to understand to where the stimulus funds have been allocated and how this could impact an area of your profession..or life. It seems to me that there may be funds in here that could be put to good use by many of you in our effort to improve the economy and US quality of life. Miami. And that was only briefly looking at the first couple of pages. Looks like they skpped Northwest Florida all together, maybe because we are so republican, but i see 15 pages devoted to Miami. I see more pork in this BS than anything else. Thanks for the link, I have many places I would like to post this gross misappropriation of public money. > From: snk1955@... <snk1955@...> > Subject: [] Stimulus Package By State > iequality , , flood_relief_aid_2002 > Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2009, 9:43 AM > This may seem off topic, but as we go thru this economic > recovery I think it > is important for people to understand to where the stimulus > funds have been > allocated and how this could impact an area of your > profession..or life.
