Guest guest
I have a grown-up child who suffered a severe mycotoxin poisoning three years ago and had to throw away everything and is now quite healthy. Visiting a friend in another city and had a reaction to mold in the bathroom. Returned a month later and the bathroom was fine after a thorough cleaning and new bath mat etc - except a reaction to mold when leaning over the drain in the sink. The drain in the tub and the toilet were fine. Tried pouring bleach and then hydrogen peroxide down the drain but that didn't help. It sounds like there must be something coating the inside of the PVC pipe between the sink and the u-pipe. Any suggestions for cleaning that would not activate the mold and spread it into the bathroom? This is not a primary residence and bringing in a plumber could be difficult. Thanks.
