What do we do now?

Our country has a new president. Whether Mr. Obama was your choice or not, we

should put all divisiveness behind us, so we can speak with one voice when we

demand that our government recognize that autism is an epidemic and ask them to

make real progress in determining a cause and ask them to limit things that may

contribute to autism (ie vaccines).

I just think that in order to be an effective grassroots movement to really have

to stand together.

For example, my child wasn't vaccine damaged because he was never vaccinated. I

know I'm in a minority. I'm still willing to concentrate on vaccines because it

seems to me that the dramatic increase in autism coincides with the increase in

the vaccine schedule.

In the time leading up to the Green Our Vaccines rally that there are some in

our community that feel that vaccines can never truly be " green " and so they

didn't feel they could support a Green Vaccine theme. I understand their

position. I don't necessarily disagree either.

All I'm saying is this: let's put our differences aside so we can work together

to make a difference for our children.

So, what do we do now? Does anyone know if autism orginizers have a plan or a

platform in place that we can promote? If not, are there any suggestions on how

we can move forward?
